With the proper support, NHS trusts can reduce their backlogs quickly and efficiently. Last year, we worked with a trust to clear their backlog in 5 weeks with over 90% initial utilisation, meaning we even had excess capacity to rebook patients who missed their appointments. Our clinically-led team integrated seamlessly with the Trust, ensuring all patients received the timely care they needed without sacrificing NHS service quality. If your team faces a backlog, speak to our team today to learn more about how we can help reduce wait times and improve patient flow. #nhspartnership #healthcareefficiency #patientcare #clinicalexcellence #nhscapacityexpansion

I feel so lucky to work amongst such an awesome team where patient care and experience is paramount.
Today is 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐟𝐞𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐚𝐲! In a new blog on the hub, we sets out the scale of avoidable harm in health and care and highlights the need for a transformation in our approach to patient safety. We also reflect on the theme of this year’s event, ‘𝑰𝒎𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒗𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒅𝒊𝒂𝒈𝒏𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒑𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒚’, and our World Patient Safety Day blogs shared on the hub, drawing out some key areas, including: ▶ rapid and timely diagnosis ▶ improving investigations into diagnostic error ▶ the importance of listening to patients ▶ accessibility and diagnostic services ▶ diagnostics and digital health. The NHS is struggling. With some patients waiting over 18 weeks for an appointment and limited capacity to deliver services, tackling the elective care backlog takes a lot of work. That's where we come in. We partner with NHS trusts to deliver services when they would otherwise be idle (typically weekends). This means we help increase capacity sustainably, ensuring patients are seen sooner and improving NHS productivity and efficiency. 🏥 #electivecare #nhstrusts #patientcare #nhsinsourcing

A massive achievement for our clinical team! Over the past few months, we have been working to improve our incident and response time to just 10 days, 18 days below the NHS average of 28. This showcases our commitment and responsiveness as an insourcing company to deal with and learn from incidents and complaints promptly. Patients are at the centre of our work at MDCG, so ensuring their needs are dealt with promptly is our priority.🏥 Well done team👏 #medicalinsourcing #nhswaitlist #nhsinsourcing

A reassured patient is a happy patient. 👏 The anticipation before surgery is very daunting, so many of our patients arrive wracked with nerves. Our staff go above and beyond to relieve these nerves, ensuring that patients are put at ease from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave. It's great to see that their dedication to reassurance and compassion makes a difference in our patients' experiences - well done, team! 👏 #patientcare #nhstrusts #medicalinsourcing #nhsinsourcing

For many NHS staff, the recent racist violence in this country will leave them feeling afraid and unwelcome. To those colleagues, our message is simple: you are welcome and you are valuable members of our community. Reach out for support if you need it. ➡ https://lnkd.in/ds5Fiw5

As the Director of Nursing at The Medical and Diagnostic Care Group , I want to echo and support the strong message from NHS England Chief Executive Amanda Pritchard regarding the recent anti-immigration riots. These acts of "deplorable violence, intimidation, and thuggery" are fundamentally wrong and un-British. At MDCG, we stand for inclusivity and diversity. Our team is made up of individuals from various backgrounds and faiths, and this diversity is one of our greatest strengths. Every member of our team is valued, and their unique perspectives and skills are essential to the care we provide. In light of recent events, it's crucial for us as leaders to act and demonstrate zero tolerance towards racism directed at our patients and staff. We must show through our actions that MDCG is a safe and welcoming place for all. To all our colleagues, particularly those who may feel afraid or unwelcome during these times, please know that you are a valued part of our community. Your contributions are vital, and we are committed to supporting and protecting you. If any member of the MDCG team feels threatened, please contact our Office team for support. Let us continue to uphold the true values that led to the creation of the NHS and have sustained it – values of Community, Solidarity, and unwavering support for one another. Thank you for your dedication and compassion. Vitor Gomes
