Women on Work (WOW), our colleague inclusion network dedicated to supporting all our colleagues who identify as women, is focused on supporting the women of Metro Bank in the workplace and helping them feel empowered to take ownership of their own careers. For #InternationalWomensDay WOW hosted an inspiring workshop led by executive career coach Sarah Cartwright. Sarah is an expert in helping people develop skills, confidence, and authenticity in the way they communicate so they can consistently perform as the best version of themselves. Sarah shared valuable tips on personal branding, being aware of your impact, and the importance of being seen and heard.

Ahead of #InternationalWomensDay tomorrow, we look at three cricketing pioneers recognised by the Metro Bank (UK) Champion of Girls’ Cricket award. These inspirational volunteers make a huge impact in their cricket communities and, in the theme of #IWD2025, are #AcceleratingAction to propel gender equality forward.
