Meet Simon Norman, Head of Business Bank here at Virgin Money. Simon has over 20 years of financial services experience and joined Virgin Money in 2008. He’s played a leading role ahead of the bank’s 2014 IPO and has worked in several roles across both the commercial and finance functions including Head of Business Partnering, Income and Costs and Head of Unsecured Lending. Get to know Simon better below 👇 What’s the best piece of advice someone has ever given you? Worry about what you can influence. The unspoken element there is try not to worry about what is outside of your control. What’s something you’ve read about lately that’s grabbed your attention?   My core reading is basically the newspaper each morning. Not an impressive literary answer, but I tend to focus on what is going on in real time and then what that means for ‘us’ (colleagues, family, friends, or society). What do you enjoy most about your role?   The people, we’ve got around 800 people in our business bank team, and I just love having the opportunity to lead them and work with them. #VirginMoney
