Without exclusions, you’ll have a harder time uniquely tailoring your messaging to audiences at each level of your funnel. Ads targeting cold audiences should differ from those targeting people who are already brand-aware, as they’ll be convinced and motivated in different ways to make a purchase. We typically exclude purchasers from the last 30, 60 or 90 days. This depends on your products and the types of ads you’re running.
