The last two Fridays have seen Modus swap cost plans and spreadsheets for paintbrushes and pergolas! We teamed up with Supported Housing Centre Amber Foundation in Ashford to improve some of their facilities🧡👐 Working alongside the residents, we got to hear some inspiring stories about how Amber supports young adults to move on positively and independently 🙌 The whole team thoroughly enjoyed giving something back to the community, as well as feeling a personal impact on themselves. Reminiscing on a crazy week last week! 👏🏼🤯 Kent Construction EXPO ✅ Breakfast, Gala Dinner, and a G4C Kent panel in between! Evolving Wimbledon ✅ with White Label Creative, hearing how local companies and stakeholders are working to maintain Wimbledon's status as London's South West Premier destination for work and pleasure 🎾 RICS UK National Awards Grand Final ✅ Having won our regional section earlier in the year in the 'Public Sector' category for QEQM Hospital ED Expansion in Margate, we attended the national awards long side the project team Hazle McCormack Young LLP, WW Martin Ltd, L E P | Lee Evans Partnership LLP, East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 ✨ Community Diagnostic Centre, Maidstone Hospital Principal Contractor Western Building Systems Ltd are continuing with 2nd fix M&E and cladding installations, with Gallagher Group Ltd back on site for their 2nd visit for further groundworks 🚧 The Canon mobile CT lab is set for install next month and the InHealth MRI lab is set to be installed in January, post completion ✅ Both Canon and InHealth construct their modular units off site, then deliver and install once a date is agreed with those on-site, offering considerable time-saving as all site-preparations can be completed prior to delivery 🚚 The new CDC for Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust will provide CT & MRI scanning and supporting consultation space, releasing traffic from the main site and reducing patient wait times 🧑🏼⚕️ The scheme was procured through the NHS SBS Modular Buildings Framework Agreement with Modus providing Quantity Surveying services to the client 👷🏼 #communitydiagnosticcentre #quantitysurveying #healthcareconstruction
