For one night I'm sleeping in a shelter under the stars, whatever the weather on Thursday 27th March 2025 at The Trenches in Detling Showground, replicating the experience that many of our nation's heroes have to cope with on a nightly basis. Any donations to help me hit my target would be greatly appreciated. You can quickly donate via the link below.

  • 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻! 🗣️   Last Friday, our Marketing and Pre-Construction team had the pleasure of taking part in the Literary Careers Fair at The Hundred of Hoo Academy, working with students to discover the importance of literacy in their careers. Covering the practical uses of English, from writing tender submissions to managing marketing campaigns, it was great to engage with young people eager to learn about the different applications within construction.   As we all know, effective communication is key within our industry – it impacts everything from on-site interactions to project planning and partnerships. Breaking this subject down with students really highlighted the value of communication and literacy skills within the workplace. But we’re keen to hear from those in the industry, how do you integrate communication into your daily work? How does it affect your professional relationships and project success? Feel free to share your insights in the comments! Leigh Academies Trust The Hundred of Hoo Academy #LitFestHoo #ConstructionIndustry #CareerDevelopment
