The Health Pooled Fund's warehouse in Juba operates to a high standard and with careful preparation has dispatched 21 consignments successfully since 2012 and has begun distribution of Consignment 22, this week. Montrose has been involved with Crown Agents and IPA in the implementation of the HPF programme for almost a decade including providing technical assistance and health care services across South Sudan including supporting the distribution of medical supplies, especially 'last-mile' delivery. The warehouse in Juba uses M-supply software to provide electronic receipting, issuing, picking and waybills. Procurement systems ensure that the supplier provides fresh stock for each consignment. This week Ministry of Health officials and representatives from the Health Pooled Fund donors will observed the beginning of the distribution, the final one under the existing programme before there is a transition to the World Bank and UNICEF later in 2024. #health #medicalsupplies #UKID #OneMontrose
