The Ministry of Health of Uganda has recognized FHI 360, under our Uganda USAID MCHN project, as a key implementing partner for Kampala at the 2024 National Safe Motherhood Conference! The project works to improve maternal and child health and nutrition outcomes.

Health care workers need routine trainings to make sure they are providing #tuberculosis (#TB) patients with the latest testing and treatments. In #Indonesia’s health system, traditional face-to-face training is challenging to execute. That’s why our USAID Tuberculosis Private Sector project created innovative training methods — like e-learning — to reach health care workers. #EndTB

When Marsabit County, Kenya, experienced an outbreak of #RiftValleyFever, FHI 360 and our collaborators helped address the disease outbreak and provided insight into how to improve future responses. Self-testing enables members of key populations, like Cloudes, to get tested for #HIV without having to go to a clinic or get blood drawn. Cloudes has been coming to the St. Theresa Clinic in Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea, for four years to check his status – but now he is taking self-testing kits home, both for himself and people he knows. A project funded by UNAIDS and led by FHI 360 was the first to pilot HIV self-testing in #PapuaNewGuinea!

Adolescent girls and young women — particularly in eastern and southern Africa — remain highly susceptible to acquiring #HIV. MOSAIC Consortium, led by FHI 360, is working to accelerate the availability and uptake of new #HIVPrevention methods.
