Us ladies have periods but there is still SO much shame in talking about them. Like, why? Just like Money, we earn it, we want it, we need it but talking about it...it's a no for many. Silence doesn't help. Education is paramount. The more we learn we more we are empowered. It wasn't until I came across the beauties at Mooncup Ltd this year and educated myself on period products and how toxic others are that I vouched I would never use anything other than Mooncup Ltd again. I think this “work wedding” needs more airtime. Feeling like Marilyn Monroe in the underground (holding on to my gorgeous veil in the incoming tube gusts), I must say that I absolutely loved every second of the attention - fully embodying being a bride on the platform. But if i’m honest, most people really just wanted a close up of my Mooncup bouquet. Lol. “...But I thought I would be with you for your first wedding dress shop outing?” They say life in a challenger brand can go from zero to five million very quickly… Well, last week I posted on LinkedIn about my personal dating life shockers and this week, here I am dressed as a bride on the tube platform... What a difference a week makes. 🌚 When my team first asked if I would mind going wedding dress shopping for a TFL campaign, naturally I jumped at the opportunity. It wasn't, however, until I rang my mum and dad to let them know that I was going to be “getting married” in public for social media in a (proper) white dress from a bridal shop, that it really sank in. 🌛 Mum: “...But I thought I would be with you for your first wedding dress shop outing?” 🌜 Me: “It’s not my real wedding Mum” 🌛 Dad: “Well at least we’re not having to pay for it.” 🌜Me: “Not yet Dad” Anyway, I’m wearing a wedding dress on the tube platform because a lovely customer called Eva wrote in to tell us that she wore her Mooncup on her wedding day and so we wanted to share this amazing experience with all of you on a BIG SCALE. I spend half my life commuting and staring at tube platform ads (and the other half moaning about it 😂), so it's wild to see our Mooncup love letters blown up 10 ft high — and stopping Londoner’s in their tracks to read the whole thing. But, we couldn’t leave well enough alone with ✨just some posters✨ Earlier this week, we transformed the Tube into a scene straight out of a fairytale with our very own Mooncup Ltd wedding party, inspired by one of our favourite happily-ever-after Mooncupper stories!
