  • A design evolution with Wild and Shellworks Good design is about evolution, not excess. We took a fresh look at the Wild shower gel packaging—refining the form, improving the refill experience, and reducing costs, all while ensuring full compatibility with the original case. No need for customers to replace what they already have. Sleeker, smarter, and just as sustainable. Small changes, big impact. More on the material Vivomer – The sustainable plastic alternative At the heart of this project is Vivomer, developed by Shellworks. This compostable material is a breakthrough in sustainable design. what is key about Vivomer is that it fully biodegrades in compost soil or marine environments, leaving no microplastics behind, yet it remains highly stable in use. It can be molded like most plastics so it is lightweight, versatile and - as in this case - can often be a simple drop-in alternative to plastic packaging.   • Mindful AI: Because It’s Time the Kids Got a Look-In CES 2025, where tech giants unveiled their latest marvels. Personal AI supercomputers? Check. Generative AI in TVs? Of course. Retail ad placement tools? Riveting. But amidst all this innovation, there’s a glaring oversight: AI products for children. Let’s talk facts. The majority of 8-14-year-olds in the UK already know about AI and, surprisingly, think it has the potential to be helpful. (Hope springs eternal.) Meanwhile, 1 in 5 young people with mental health disorders are stuck waiting for support, with over 250,000 children on NHS lists as of March 2024. The support these kids need—counselling, coaching, therapy—doesn’t scale easily. But you know what does? AI. At Morrama, we couldn’t help but wonder: if AI chatbots can handle customer complaints and summarise your emails, surely they can do more for kids than just read out bedtime stories? Enter Mindful AI—our exploration of how AI could provide actual value to children aged 6 and up. Four Tools for the AI Natives We’ve developed four near-future concepts that combine machine learning with creativity to support kids in key areas: Managing emotions: because feelings are hard, and kids deserve better tools to navigate them. Exploring creativity: encouraging artistic expression, avoiding addictive filters. Building connections: fostering meaningful interactions, instead of just more notifications. Finding an escape: creating imaginative spaces for kids to reset and recharge. Why Now? If Gen-Z are digital natives, the kids born today are AI natives growing up in a world where AI is an everyday utility. The tech they encounter will shape how they think, feel, and interact with the world—and that deserves our attention. Mental health in children isn’t an easy problem to solve, but we believe it’s one worth tackling. With input from a child psychiatrist, we’re imagining a future where AI isn’t just clever, it’s compassionate—seamlessly woven into the home to support children when they need it most.
