Recently, members of the Muirhall Energy team were invited to Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity to meet the team and see the great work that the charity is doing. We are excited to be able to help raise funds for such a good cause this year!

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟 We are thrilled to welcome Senior Project Manager, Susan Bell , to the Muirhall team! Susan brings 13 years of experience in planning and environmental consultancies, including her expertise as a chartered planner, registered EIA Practitioner, and Practitioner member of IEMA. She will be focused on supporting our Development Team to guide our projects through the consenting process, ensuring that we continue to meet the highest environmental standards. Susan chose Muirhall for the next stage in her career because of the exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on renewable energy projects, the environment, and local communities.

Muirhall Energy is disappointed with the recent decision of Scottish Borders Council planning committee to object to our proposed Teviot Wind Farm despite a recommendation from the planning officer to not object to the scheme.   We have worked closely with stakeholders since 2022 to ensure their professional opinions have positively shaped the progression of the project.   Despite this decision, we remain confident that Teviot Wind Farm will ultimately be consented. https://lnkd.in/eYAmNxfT

We proudly sponsored Hawick High School's first GreenPower kit car, inspiring students to pursue a career in STEM.   After their initial success, it was a pleasure to fund a further car and support them in the Muirhall Challenge last summer.

Muirhall Energy's Sarah McIntosh, Siobhan Jarvie and Harris Christie were delighted to #ShowtheLove for our planet at West Calder High School Careers Fair by raising awareness of what we do and the variety of green jobs available to these young people as they think about their future choices. In addition to contributing to meeting net zero goals, our wind farms bring with them further environmental and biological improvements. Today, we had the pleasure of having an introductory call with Lyndsay Anderson from Glasgow Children's Hospital Charity. This was a fantastic opportunity to hear more about the work the charity does to support children in our local area. The visit has inspired us to work even harder to raise as much as we can for such a great cause!

We purchased and renovated the old post office in Hawick in 2020 - it's now used as our South of Scotland office as well as a meeting space for local community groups! Take a tour of the office by watching the video below.
