This week, we highlight the vital role apprenticeships play in developing future professionals by combining structured learning with real-world experience. Apprenticeships provide a unique pathway for individuals to gain industry-specific expertise, build professional networks, and accelerate career development while contributing to their workplace from day one.   At MYCO, we are proud to play our part in developing and nurturing apprentices - both within our business and throughout our supply chain. Investing in emerging talent is essential to strengthening our industry and ensuring a skilled workforce for the future.   In conversation with Suraj Rangi, Apprentice Quantity Surveyor, he shared some insight into the benefits of his apprenticeship journey:   "Every day as an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor is a blend of learning and hands-on experience applying real-world skills at work while building essential knowledge at university. MYCO are thrilled to announce the recent completion of the Bechstein Hall redevelopment project. Working alongside our client C. Bechstein, this ambitious project saw the transformation of 18-22 Wigmore Street into a stunning, multi-purpose space that reflects its rich heritage and the return of C. Bechstein to Wigmore Street after over a century. The centrepiece of this project is the magnificent Concert Hall, a-state-of-the-art and intimate venue dedicated to celebrating world-class classical music. The project also includes a high-end bar, restaurant, offices, piano showroom and premium residential units. We are proud to have played a part in delivering this exceptional flagship building alongside COLLINS COMMERCIAL LIMITED, Rhomco, Door Nineteen (Estelle Buckland) and Purcell. We were delighted to celebrate the topping out ceremony at Acorn House in Kings Cross earlier this month for Precis Advisory Ltd. This much needed, entirely affordable housing development has now reached it's highest point and works will now begin to complete the façade and start the fit-out, with the building expected to open during 2025.   Standing at the top of the new 9 storey building, we saw, for the first time, the spectacular views over London that future residents will benefit from in their new, high-quality and sustainable homes.   When completed, Acorn House will deliver 33 affordable homes, flexible and affordable office space, a community room, play space and a retail unit for a local business on the ground floor.   Thank you to all our partners on this exciting project - Newlon Housing Trust, London Borough of Camden, AHMMArchitects, CPC Project Services, Cast Consultancy, AKT II, Philip Pank Partnership LLP, Atelier Ten, Brookes Architects Ltd, Premier Guarantee, Gerald Eve Planning & Development, London Communications Agency, CS Consulting Engineers and Synergy Consulting Engineers Limited.

MYCO Interiors are thrilled to announce a new project at Sunlight House, a renowned building in the heart of Manchester.   Originally built in 1932 as Manchester's first skyscraper, this iconic structure will be transformed through a meticulous refurbishment of over 165,000 sq/ft blending modernity with practicality. Dedication to sustainability is highlighted by the installation of MEP & HVAC systems designed to achieve an impressive 4-star Nabers and BREEAM excellence.   The ground floor will feature a new reception and café, enhancing the communal spaces, while new entrance staircases will create an inviting outdoor area within the atrium.
