Updates

  • Last weekend we lit up the side of the National gallery in the centre of Edinburgh. A spectacular display featuring a range of artworks from the nation’s collection was projected on to the building on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evening. We brought the art from inside the galleries, to the outside – for all to see. Our message was loud and clear. That this art belongs to the people of Scotland. It is our past, our present and our future and it is free for all to access. This campaign was made possible with the expertise of our suppliers APS Group and Double Take Projections. We look forward to our continued work with them on building awareness of our brand and delivering on our vision to make art work for everyone.

Happy Friday folks! It’s not often these days I get out from behind the desk to get along to our networking events, so it was a delight to head along to the gorgeous National Galleries of Scotland for our monthly Early Start! Great to see some familiar faces, and a lot of new members joining us for a sunny start at the Gardens view - fuelled by some delicious catering courtesy of Contini Restaurants & Events! Our members were then treated to a short snippet of their tour, visiting some of their collections including the ‘Picturing Landscapes & Framing the City 1730-1930’, which displayed a number of paintings showing how Scotland and the cities landmarks have been depicted over the last 200 years. Big thank you to Jenny Souter for organising, and the the fabulous team for looking after us so well. The Galleries have a range of stunning spaces you can utilise for a range of events, so do not hesistate to speak to Jenny on what you can do! Want in on the networking action? Keep an eye on our events calendar which is updated weekly with a number of great events in some of the cities best venues: https://lnkd.in/dXPghmv #events #edinburgh #networking
