Today we're celebrating the one year anniversary of our Stronger Together, Everyone Matters campaign. We've shared real stories from our people throughout the past year, highlighting their unique experiences and perspectives and how they've overcome barriers at all stages of their careers. We've also brought to life the hidden stories shared by our communities through our personas to ensure we feature the issues that individuals may not wish to share themselves. We had the honour of being Highly Commended for an innovative approach to diversity, equality and inclusion in the Employers Network for Equality & Inclusion (enei) Inclusivity Excellence Awards. The campaign was also shortlisted in the STEM campaign category at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations Excellence Awards. We will continue to share the experiences of our people and aim to inspire the STEM community and beyond. Explore our stories and be part of the campaign: https://lnkd.in/ec9abtnP

Take a look at the kinds of harsh conditions our electronics materials experts Martin Wickham, Meenakshy Ramankutty and Dhaval Vankhade will be covering in our next Electronics Reliability webinar. To understand the partial discharge phenomena in multilayer printed circuit boards, we have been measuring inception voltages across seven different multilayer laminates. Next week our experts will be discussing the methodology used and results including the PD behaviour at lower pressures. 📅 11 February 🕚 11:00 – 12:00 (UTC) Register now: https://lnkd.in/gBGa58y8

An exciting advancement in quantum computing that began as a small Measurement for Quantum project. With Quantum Motion's expertise in circuit design, and our cryogenic test and measurement capabilities, this will generate valuable semiconductor device technology - a focus area for the UK. Find out more about Measurement for Quantum here: https://lnkd.in/diu84He
Quantum Motion has partnered with the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) and the University of Strathclyde to develop new ways to overcome the challenges of running quantum control electronics in extremely cold conditions. This UKRI EPSRC Prosperity Partnership will create advanced tools for measuring and modelling the thermal behaviour of cryogenic electronics, a critical step towards integrating these components with quantum devices. The project is co-led by: Dr Alessandro Rossi, UKRI Future Leaders Fellow and Principal Investigator at the Semiconductor Quantum Electronics (SEQUEL) Lab, Strathclyde Grayson Noah, Lead Integrated Circuit Validation Engineer at Quantum Motion Jon Fletcher, Senior Research Scientist at NPL This project is also funding a PhD student in the first cohort of the new CDT in Applied Quantum Technologies at the University of Strathclyde starting in 2025!
