Evening all. Well another week of brilliant British Summer weather has made us all look out our waterproofs……or did we even put them away? Our sales have been decent throughout this changeable spring/summer season. Have the buys been better? Yes, I would like to think so. Have the numbers been closer to what we needed? Yes, I know so…. And all of this has been done without a safety net (or a merchandiser to you)….. Are the stores looking better? I’d also like to say yes. I am sure the same could be said by loads of other outdoor retailers….. But the biggest difference I have seen when visiting our stores and walking through the doors of our competitors……My staff….Our teams. The knowledge, the chat, the manners, the approach, the customer service, the ability to help and advise everyone who comes into a Nevisport store. Our guys receive plaudit after plaudit. And whilst you cannot please everyone, we go out of our way to ensure that you receive the best service and the best advice. So, as the AW24 stock begins to fly into our stores (and out hopefully) be assured that you will be looked after from the minute you walk in to the moment you leave and beyond. After visiting our amazing store in Fort William and having a wander through the town, one of the many things I noticed was that a town once packed with cafes and eateries, now has only a few decent places to eat, chat and drink a hot beverage. Our store once housed a very busy cafe and bar. And we are on the lookout to fill that void. If you are are interested or know anyone who is looking to expand etc please get in touch. The store needs/wants a successful cafe, the town needs a successful cafe. The staff need/want a successful cafe…..full of flavoursome treats and hot steaming coffee. Please feel free to share.

Nevisport on Tour On our way to Manchester to see some of our biggest brands. Week 6 or 7 of the SS25 buying season….. feels longer! 2 more big weeks to go , including 3 full on days at OTS, then it’s a well deserved holiday that is next on the agenda. Huge thanks to Scott Mclenaghan for all his hard work, attention to detail and most of all, quality company. We have had some Matrix meets Rainman moments……. Also to the team back in H.O. and the stores for smashing goals and targets week in, week out. And finally, to our brand partners, who have been very hospitable and have made the meetings as enjoyable and informative as possible. Nevisport : we are growing faster and stronger.
