One Step Closer to Sustainable Development Lefa mine has been working hard to advance its commitments to the local communities in Guinea. We are proud to share the progress of this community project aiming to improve access to drinking water in neighbouring villages. Five electric boreholes were successfully completed in the areas of Siguirini, Léro 1, Léro 2, Amina and Tomba Kansa. To ensure the quality and durability of the installations, Lefa’s community relations department carried out a series of rigorous checks in collaboration with third-party construction experts. The boreholes have been handed over to their beneficiaries, and we keep closely monitoring these facilities to ensure their maintenance. The commitment doesn't stop there. The plan is to start building five new electric boreholes and a bridge between Léro 1 and Léro 2 later this year. Every step forward is a step towards a future where the mining sector and communities can prosper together. Stay tuned to our sustainability initiatives! #CommunityDevelopment #SocialImpact #Sustainability #SocialInnovation #morethangold
