#ORR provides an exploration update for its Gamboukou licence within the Central Licence Package (CLP) in Cameroon, which is being assessed for both its #gold and #lithium potential following a review by Micon International Limited in Q2-2024. Following Micon's visit, a preliminary stream sediment campaign of 407 samples has been completed, with nine samples grading >10ppb Au, and a highest value of 39ppb Au. This is comparable with stream sediment results at other CLP licences, notably the MB01 target at Mbe. All samples have also been analysed for a range of elements using a portable X-ray Fluorescence unit to investigate Gamboukou’s lithium prospectivity. Results have provided some encouragement, but further assessment is required.

#ORR announces a corporate restructuring of its #gold projects in #Cameroon, following an agreement with its local partners to buy out their existing equity positions in the Bibemi and Mbe licences for $39,000 and $100,000 respectively. Following completion of these transactions, Oriole’s beneficial interest in both the Bibemi and Mbe licences will increase to 90%. Local Partners will move to a NSR Royalty. In addition, the Ministry of Mines in Cameroon has approved the transfer of the Bibemi exploitation licence from RMC SARL to OrrCam2 SARL. The Ministry has also acknowledged receipt of the Bibemi exploitation licence application.

#ORR provides an update on its Bibemi #gold project in #Cameroon, with a total of 3,741.70 metres drilled in 31 holes so far for the ongoing Phase 5 diamond drilling programme at the BZ1 prospect. Results from the second set of 10 holes at the BZ1-MRE target have delivered highlights of 1.20m at 25.54g/t Au, 2m at 2.76g/t Au and 1.80m at 3.26g/t Au, providing further support for the definition of additional near surface resources within the existing MRE footprint. Results from a further seven holes are awaited at BZ1-MRE, and drilling has commenced at a second target, BZ1-NE, where 18 drill holes are planned. Completion of the Phase 5 drilling programme is anticipated in Q4 2024.
