**PIB CONTRACTORS CELEBRATES 20 YEARS** Many thanks to Construction Wave for reporting on our 20th year of trading. Hertfordshire based specialist contractor PIB Contractors has delivered a record year in their 20th year of trading. Turnover has risen to 44m in PIB Contractors and 50m with associated companies in what has been a record year capping a period of controlled expansion and diversification for the business. Lewis Foley, Managing Director, said: “In 2004, our founder / CEO Pavel Belev founded the company upon his arrival in the UK from Bulgaria. A large majority of the operatives who started with PIB between 2004 and 2006 remain with the business and have progressed to key management positions or working supervisory roles and or remain on the tools still working for us, more importantly we all remain friends outside of work. This loyalty is the key backbone of the business. In addition then the key appointments of Steve Monger and Danny White enabled us to drive forward with their specialist all round skill sets / experience and establish ourselves as one of the leading sub-contractors within the UK.” Thank you to the many others who have helped drive our business forward and we look forward to the next 20 years and beyond.

Thank you so much to Screwfix & Kingfisher plc for inviting us and hosting such an incredible event on Monday at the House of Commons. It was a fantastic opportunity for our apprentices, Jude and Paris, to share their experiences and showcase their apprenticeship journeys. We would also like to thank their host companies, Fascel Group & PIB Contractors for allowing them the time out of their placements to attend this event with us.             It was great to hear John Mewett Screwfix CEO and Adam Dance MP speak so positively about the importance of skills in the construction sector and the work we’re doing in partnership to make a difference. We have been working with Screwfix for a couple of years now and it was a pleasure to meet the executive team in person at this event. We are looking forward to our continued collaboration.

Congratulations to our logistics manager Kosta Nikolov for winning the individual Health and Safety award at our 3rd phase for Wates Group in Barking delivering 334 units on london’s largest residential regeneration for Be First Regeneration Limited. Kosta has done an excellent job in safely managing the logistics for us on an extremely busy site where we are delivering across multiple blocks with circa 100 operatives #sfs #sheathingboard #epdm #drylining #pods #soffitliner #Tapeandjoint

Solar Serena Sunrise “ Park Rise” was a brilliant project to have delivered on behalf of Wates Group and London Borough of Havering Our scope included SFS / Windows / dry lining / one hit wall / soffit insulation / POD placement and associated works. A fantastic project delivered by all involved.
