Improve worker safety with an updated and enhanced ionisation chamber. Ionisation chambers provide a cost-effective way to detect ionising radiation, and are commonly used in environments where it is vital for the safety of workers to detect radioactive gas in the air, such as research and development laboratories, healthcare settings, and industrial settings. A prosperous future is what we all want – the new government especially so. A prosperous future is also one that many investors and collaborative partners look out for due to the potential that it brings for further work and innovation. That’s a wrap! The AUSA 2024 event in Washington has come to a close, and our colleagues are heading back to the UK. It has been a busy week for the team, and they have shared their key takeaways and thoughts below:   Our Commercial Director, Gordon Scott, said: “It was great to see the latest solutions to defence challenges at AUSA and understand better where Ploughshare solutions can add value and save lives. Whilst in Washington DC, it was also good to be invited to the British Embassy Washington Army reception hosted by the Ambassador. A new ceramic nanocomposite material (CaRBON) has just been added to our portfolio. Developed by AWE, this material is easier to make, lighter weight, and more hardwearing and radiation resistant than current options on the market.
