Yesterday we welcomed a group of female students from Milford Haven School who are on the SPARC (Sustainable Power, Renewables and Construction) programme. Marine Pilot and Simulator Instructor Captain Ewan McNicoll showed the students the state of the art equipment and answered lots of interesting questions.

The Port of Milford Haven's VTS Suite upgrade is now complete with MDesk-Technical HA consoles from Custom Consoles Limited. These height-adjustable workstations enhance efficiency, ergonomics, and overall wellbeing for our Vessel Traffic Service team. Read the article: https://lnkd.in/eS-eggmg

✨Join our apprenticeship programme at South Hook LNG and embark on a journey to develop an exciting future, whilst contributing to our mission of Delivering Energy to the UK. ✨ This year, we are seeking an Mechanical Apprentice, eager to achieve academic (BTEC) and vocational (NVQ) qualifications over a four-year period. Commencing September 2025, your initial year will be dedicated full-time at Pembrokeshire College, complemented by site visits during holidays to engage with your mentor and colleagues. You'll gain practical skills essential for maintaining our LNG Regasification Terminal and develop key behaviours crucial for our site's safe operation. From the second year, you will continue with academic qualifications at Pembrokeshire College for one day each week, while dedicating the remaining four days to practical, on-the-job training at our Terminal. Under the guidance of your assigned Mentor and our highly skilled Maintenance Team, you will continue to develop your technical skills. Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming Enhanced Marine Engineering Pre-Cadetship learners of Pembrokeshire College to the Port of Milford Haven. During their visit, students had the opportunity to explore our Simulator Suite, VTS Suite and engage with members of our Marine Team, gaining valuable hands-on experience and insights into port operations.  At the Port of Milford Haven, we are passionate about supporting the next generation of maritime professionals and we look forward to seeing them thrive in the industry!

The construction of our new pilot boat is progressing smoothly, with each stage showcasing the skill and dedication of those involved.
