Thank you so much to the 40 riders who took part in #RideTheRoute last week, cycling from Glasgow to Manchester over three days. 🚲🤩 So far you have raised £46,000 for vulnerable children who are in desperate need of our support - how amazing!? Shout out to the wonderful support crew too, we couldn't do any of this without you! 💚 We look forward to seeing you all at the Ride the Route gala next spring... 🌷 . . We believe in a world where no child ever has to live on the streets.
About us
Railway Children exists for children at risk of abuse and exploitation on streets and at transport hubs. Having run away or been forced to leave homes filled with poverty, violence, abuse or neglect, these children find themselves on the streets because there is nowhere else to go and no one left to turn to. But the problems they face on the streets are often far worse than what they have left behind. Every day, across the UK, India and Tanzania, we aim to reach vulnerable children as soon as they arrive on the streets, before they come to harm. After meeting their immediate needs, we then work with children to change their stories – providing the support they and their families need for as long as it takes to build the brighter future they deserve.
