📷 ☺️ It's been quite the week for high profile political press activity here in Wales. On their first official joint visit, Prime Minister Keir Starmer met with Wales' new First Minister, Eluned Morgan, at RWE's Brechfa onshore windfarm to outline the pivotal role Wales has to play in the ambition to make the UK a clean energy superpower. Then the First Minister joined Angela Rayner MP, Deputy Prime Minister, and Jo Stevens MP, Secretary of State for Wales, at the official opening of Pembroke Dock Marine's new £60 million development to attract offshore renewable energy firms and jobs to the region. Huge thanks to Port of Milford Haven for inviting us to attend. Lots of talk of turbo-charging ambition to deliver for a greener more prosperous Wales 💚

CELTIC SEA 🌊 The Crown Estate has launched the latest phase of its Offshore Wind Leasing Round 5, aiming to develop a new generation of floating wind farms in the Celtic Sea, off the coasts of South Wales and South West England. Research published in February this year by The Crown Estate showed that the supply chain for new Celtic Sea floating wind farms could create more than 5,000 new jobs and deliver a £1.4 billion boost to the economy.
