Joining from ScottishPower Renewables, Ryan has over five years worth of experience in utility-scale renewable energy project development with a focus on site search activities and land deals. In his previous role, Ryan added over 1GW of projects to ScottishPower Renewables's UK & ROI pipeline between 2023 and 2024. We are delighted to welcome our latest recruit, Will Twigger, who joins the Renewco Power team as an Investment Associate based in the UK. Will has been in the renewables industry for over 2 years, working previously within the renewable energy investment team at Blackfinch Group where he developed experience in acquiring UK solar and wind renewable assets. Will has a Master’s in Finance from the University of Exeter and successfully passed his CFA level 3. "I am thrilled to start my new position as an Investment Associate with Renewco Power. Utilising my experience of renewables infrastructure investments to assist the global development of renewable energy is a great opportunity. In particular, identifying development opportunities within multiple technologies across different countries opens up a wide universe of possibilities, which is very exciting to be a part of." 🇮🇹 (Italian below) We are delighted to welcome Stefano Gremmo who this week joined the Renewco Power Italy team as our new Land Acquisition Manager.    Stefano brings a wealth of business development experience across real estate, energy saving, storage and PV system technologies in Italy. Over the last two years, he has focused on evaluating land investment opportunities and stakeholder contract management.    Ahead of starting his role, Stefano Gremmo commented: "I’m delighted to start my new position as Land Acquisition Manager with Renewco Power. Italy represents an interesting and complex market, and I’m very much looking forward to supporting the existing Renewco Italian team with this challenge.” Siamo lieti di dare il benvenuto a Stefano Gremmo, che questa settimana si è unito al team Renewco Power Italy come nuovo Land Acquisition Manager. The Renewco Power UK team (Richard Koiak, Maeve Fryday, Nicolas Lopez, Alasdair Laurenson, Alejandro Thompson Castro, Gary Fleming) recently completed their second day in the stunning (but often windy and wet!) Pentland Hills with AP Mountaineering completing an Outdoor Navigation Course. At Renewco Power we are committed to ensuring all members of our team have all the necessary training and skills to perform their role to the best do their ability in a safe manner. This challenging course not only gave the team the required training and information to safely navigate remote terrain but also provided an opportunity to spend crucial time together working outside of the office. #teamwork #mountaineering #renewableenergy

We are delighted to announce the launch of the ‘M74 West Small Grants Programme’ as part of an early pilot programme using BizGive’s AssetFace community engagement platform.    The M74 West Renewable Energy Park is a proposed renewable energy development at a site northwest of Abington services, South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The project aims to include up to 22 wind turbines, solar photo-voltaic (PV) generation and a battery energy storage system (BESS) and could power the equivalent of 170,021 homes. The proposed development will have a total installed capacity of approximately 295MW.   AssetFace has been designed to make engagement on the M74 West community benefits package more accessible, collaborative, user-friendly and transparent. If successful, AssetFace could be rolled out across the Renewco Power portfolio of wind-led renewable energy projects throughout the UK.    The early ‘Small Grants Programme’ has a total value of £5,000 and we have already pre-approved our first grant to Wiston Village Hall Association for their “The Crown Comes to Wiston” project, which is a community pub event located at the village hall, approximately 7km from the M74 West site.    Applications for grants can be made up to 31 March 2025.
