JARGON BUSTING – SEALER To seal or not to seal that is the question? WHAT ❓Sealer is quite simply a coat of PVA glue or two coats WHERE ❓ Onto the sub floor beneath the raised floor WHY ❓ Sealer is designed as a dust proof sealer, it has nothing to do with the pedestals bond to the sub floor. The process is generally a yellow sealer to prep the floor, the M&E get’s installed then a final red coat to repair any damage to the original seal What do we do next? Let us know in the comments.
