Anna Bond has been appointed as Head of Western Corridor at SEGRO plc. Anna joins from Grosvenor where she served for over 16 years, most recently acting as Executive Director, Development. David Shaw has been appointed as Investment Director at HSPG. joins from AlphaReal Capital where he served as Director, Capital Structuring. Adam Isaacs has started a new position as Managing Director, Investment at Praxis. Adam joins from Brockton Everlast where he worked for over 10 years, most recently as Managing Director. Ryan Lee has been appointed CFO of CPP-backed student accommodation operator Nido Students. Lee joins from Atrium European Real Estate where he served as Chief Executive. The vertically integrated platform is eyeing up acquisition and new opportunities in Italy and Germany alongside continued growth in Spain. Jack Franklin has been appointed as Director, UK Capital Markets at Panattoni. Jack joins from PGIM Real Estate where he served as Vice President. Arrow Capital Partners has launched a European credit business and have appointed Alexandra Lanni as Head of Credit, to lead the business. She joins from CBRE Investment Management where she served as Head of Investments, Credit Strategies EMEA. Rob Brook, Adrian McStay and Teresa Dyer have launched Staybrook Capital. Staybrook will be a new Operating Platform into the UK and European markets for clients both in the long-term and to capitalise on current market opportunities. Excellent session this morning with the Development Leadership Collective debating the Gateway 2 stage of the BSA. Still some evident confusion in the industry around what is actually required for a successful GW2 submission. Some scary facts shared by Allan Binns & Rikky Singh Hunjan on GW2 submissions since 01 October 2023 from a recent FOI request: ❌ 313 were invalid 😞 23 were rejected 🔍 468 were under review, awaiting further info or waiting for a case officer ✅ 147 were approved (14% of the total) Some work to do in providing clarity on demonstrating compliance, but the fog does very slowly seem to be clearing! She is expected to start her new role early in the New Year, replacing Peter Ballon. She leaves her role at Schroders where she served as Global Head of Real Estate Ben Quarrie has left his position at St.Modwen, where he served as a Director of Development and joined SEGRO plc as Development Director. Boris Olujic has resigned from Apollo Global Management, Inc. and will leave at the end of the year on good terms. Apollo does not intend to raise third-party capital for the core-plus strategy Olujic oversees. Gordon Kellie has joined The Carlyle Group as Head of UK Real Estate. Gordon had previously held senior positions at St. Modwen as Head of Portfolio Mnagement and ARA Dunedin Asset Management as Head of Origination. Fizzah Salahuddin joins Pure Data Centres Group as a Senior Associate in London. She was previously a Fund Manager at RF Corval in Sydney, Australia. Legal & General has appointed Eric Adler as CEO of its Asset management business, with Michelle Scrimgeour to step down following a handover period. Eric moves from PGIM Real Estate where he served as President & Chief Executive Officer at PGIM Private Alternatives Giles Sheehan, Head of Investment at Derwent London, has left to pursue other interests. Leumi UK has announced Nick Westoby as Relationship Director of their Property Finance team. He joins from Octopus Real Estate where he served as Investment Director - Real Estate Finance Edward Boots has joined M&G Investments as Head of Origination for Continental Europe.
