March 8th marks International Women’s Day, this year with the UN's theme: “For all women and girls: Rights. Equity. Empowerment.” To discuss empowerment and the advancement of women in the professional field, we spoke with Sherry Romanholi, the first female tunnel boring machine operator in Latin America. Romanholi, a 27-year-old civil engineer, works at the São Paulo’s Metro Line 2 expansion project in Brazil, delivered by Sacyr Engineering and Infrastructure in partnership with Engibras and SA Paulista de Construções e Comércio. By contributing to this major infrastructure project in the Brazilian metropolis, Sherry Romanholi is breaking barriers, proving all women that they too can take on roles traditionally considered “for men.” As Sherry says: “It takes determination, assertiveness, and respect for everyone". #WeAreSacyr #IWD

We’re proud to share that Sacyr UK & Ireland team members from Cardiff and Edinburgh recently took part in the Business Fives Football Tournaments ( Business Fives Ltd)! ⚽🏆 More than just a competition, these events celebrate teamwork, community spirit, and the power of sport to bring people together. Each participating company plays for a chosen charity, with all funds raised going directly to their cause. 🤝💙 Our colleagues have a strong tradition of competing in these tournaments, and this year was no exception. Together, both events raised over £8,000 for 49 different charities! 👏 A big thank you to all our players and a special mention to Connor, who was the top scorer in Cardiff with an impressive 12 goals! ⚡🥅 Congratulations to all who took part and supported these meaningful causes. We look forward to the next tournament! 🎉 #WeAreSacyr

📌Today we have presented our 2024 financial results, which reflect the strong growth of our P3 portfolio in recent years. As a result, operating cash flow grew by 53% to €1,294 million. Cash flow is the indicator that best reflects our growth and value creation, as more than 90% of our EBITDA comes from P3 assets, the vast majority of which have no demand risk or have risk mitigation mechanisms in place. 🔹Since 2022 we have commissioned 12 P3 projects -three of them in 2024- and continue to expand our portfolio: last year we achieved a record of five new assets in Italy, Peru and Chile. 🤝🏻At Sacyr we set ourselves challenges that we then pursue with passion. We have an outstanding team of nearly 15,000 professionals who are hard at work to achieve the great goal of our Strategic Plan: to be leaders in the development of greenfield transport, water, and social infrastructure projects.
