Congratulations to the NorthStar SailGP Team on their inaugural win of the 2025 Season this weekend at the ROLEX Los Angeles Sail Grand Prix. Driver and double Olympic gold medalist Giles Scott said, “I think we sailed really well all weekend. We got off the water yesterday second overall, and we still felt really frustrated. We put it together today.” This marks the first win the Canadians have secured since March 2023 (Season 3) as well as the first win with Scott in the driver's seat. SailGP is excited to confirm Saint-Tropez as the host of the ROCKWOOL Group France Sail Grand Prix on September 12-13, 2025. The event marks the first of two events in a multi-year hosting agreement between SailGP, Ville de Saint-Tropez, and Société nautique de Saint-Tropez. This will be our fourth visit to Saint-Tropez and finalizes the 2025 ROLEX SailGP Championship calendar. SailGP Managing Director, Andrew Thompson said, “We’re delighted to confirm the Rolex SailGP Championship will return to Saint-Tropez. Saint-Tropez has been home to some of the most exciting racing in SailGP history and certainly one of the most glamorous, so we have no doubt this year’s event will be no exception.” Title Partner of the idyllic stopover in the south of France, ROCKWOOL Group Senior Vice President, Marketing, Communications & Public Affairs, Mirella Amalia Vitale said, “ROCKWOOL is excited to partner with SailGP to deliver what will surely be one of the memorable events in the 2025 calendar, in Saint-Tropez.” The event will be the first time the France SailGP Team races in front of a home crowd in nearly two years, with driver Quentin Delapierre out to defend his top-speed record of 99.99 km/h, set in Saint-Tropez during Season 3.
