When girls’ stories are seen and heard, they have the power to change the world. 💪 So when we were asked to partner with Room to Read on #SheCreatesChange, a project aimed at amplifying the voices of courageous girls worldwide, we were all in. We know that stories spark change—so we brought this vision to life by: ✨ Workshopping user journeys | Ensuring the project website meets the needs of educators, donors, supporters, and, most importantly, girls themselves. 🎨 Designing a seamless UX/UI | Creating a digital space that’s both beautiful and accessible. 💻 Developing the website | Bringing everything together in an intuitive and impactful online hub. Now, #SheCreatesChange has a home where people can engage with the inspiring film, access free teaching resources and advocacy tools—all driving forward the fight for gender equality. 🔗 Check out the site and join the movement at www.shecreateschange.org A huge shoutout to Room to Read for leading the charge. This is storytelling with purpose!

How do you take a cause that feels divisive and make it something everyone can rally behind? 🤝 When we first set out to reimagine the Refugee Council’s new brand, we knew it had to be more than just a logo – it had to make a statement. 👊 And today, it’s here. This rebrand isn’t just a fresh logo – it’s a shift in the conversation. For years, the media has relied on outdated, fear-driven narratives about refugees. With this new look, we’re rewriting that story. 🔄 We’re focusing on hope, unity, and shared values – showing that refugees are part of the fabric of British life and contribute to the strength of our society. 🌍 The new strapline, “The Nation’s Refugee Charity”, says it loud and clear: refugees are part of Britain’s DNA. 🇬🇧 The new visuals, inspired by linocut printing, capture the grit and resilience of both refugees and the charity. This isn’t just a rebrand. It’s a call to reclaim the narrative and make refugee support something that unites us all. 💪 Massive shoutout to the brilliant team at Refugee Council for trusting us with this journey and for their dedication to creating real change. We’re beyond proud to have helped bring this vision to life. 💙

🔊🔊🔊 Another fine piece of work by Jack of Milk & Peppers for the folks at Shape History. This one's for Make Medicines Affordable who work to reduce the cost of certain medications in middle-income countries. I didn’t do any sound design for this one. Instead, I was tasked with chopping up and rearranging the stems from a piece of stock music to better follow the animation's rhythm and flow. The advantage of using stock music in this way is that you can get it to work so much more tightly with the movement and dynamics of the animation. The process often feels like I’m creating a remix of the track (in a way, that’s kind of what’s happening) Not all stock music sites offer stems, but it can be a great way to strengthen the connection between motion and music and enhance the storytelling when this option is available. Music editing by Drew Simmons Animation by Jack P. Agency Shape History Stock music chosen by client. I am available as a freelancer.
