Wonderful to see our engineers inspiring the next generation!
British Science Week at school. What a pleasure it was to talk to a room full of Key Stage 1 children at my kids' school today about being an engineer. What an engaged audience with such fabulous questions. I wished I could stay all day to answer them all. Best bit? That most of the room put up their hand when their teacher asked if anyone thought this is something they'd like to do when they're older! That so many 5-8 year olds already have in their minds that engineering could be a great career choice for them makes me very happy! Thank you Skelly & Couch for the catalogue of inspirational projects I've been lucky enough to be part of, and could showcase to the children.

Proud to have been part of this journey!
Battersea Arts Centre 10 Years On. Ten years ago today, on 13 March 2015, Battersea Arts Centre was saved from a fire that consumed the Grand Hall. Haworth Tompkins is incredibly proud to have supported BAC in the rebuilding of the Grand Hall and despite the tragedy of the fire, we have fond memories of the reconstruction process. We particularly remember the huge groundswell of support that helped to save and revitalise the building - the team at BAC, the emergency services, the local community, audiences, artists and performers, insurers, heritage stakeholders, contractors and design colleagues. It has been a pleasure to see BAC adapt and evolve over the past 10 years to become such a significant cultural and community asset. #HaworthTompkins #BAC #GrandHall #10YearAnniversary #Community #Cultural #Heritage #Asset Battersea Arts Centre, Price & Myers, Heyne Tillett Steel, Theatreplan, Charcoalblue, Skelly & Couch, XCO2, Gillieron Scott Acoustic Design, Sound Space Vision, 8build, Ashe Group, Gilbert-Ash, Bristow Consulting, Jake Tilson

Delighted to be part of the team, renewing services and providing infrastructure to support sustainability aspirations and future endeavours enhancing the members' experience.
Founded in 1869, The Hurlingham Club is one of the world’s most famous private members’ clubs. Its riverside clubhouse in Fulham, southwest London, is grade II* listed. Its core dates to the mid-18th century, with later additions by Sir Edwin Lutyens. For phase one of the club’s masterplan, we’re refurbishing the clubhouse’s East Wing. Our design will deliver a new high-quality restaurant with seating for 120, along with renewed event spaces and upgrades to improve the building’s energy efficiency. Works are progressing well on site, with the domed roof-lights installed at the turn of the year. Joinery for the project is being hand-made off-site, ready for installation ahead of the East Wing’s spring reopening.
