Our Public Health and Communities team have recently created a number of 'Eat Better' guides aimed at supporting food outlets in Suffolk to make small changes to the food they prepare and serve, in an attempt to promote healthier eating options, and support improved well-being for our residents. Customers are increasingly seeking nutritious, lower-calorie, and more sustainable choices when eating out. All too often the less healthy options are playing the starring role and healthier food is pushed off stage. To improve health, we need to work together, so the more nutritious and more sustainable foods are in the spotlight. All of the guides are available for download at https://lnkd.in/eFqJpgH9 Help us spread the word about these free downloadable guides with café, takeaway, canteen and restaurant owners across Suffolk.

This year our Annual Public Health Report is focused on ageing well in Suffolk. Stuart Keeble Director of Public Health in Suffolk has summarised the findings, recommendations and actions that have been detailed within this report. In this video, Stuart highlight three key take away points to note which include: 1. There is not one single thing we can do to help people to age well in Suffolk and it takes action from a number of partners working in Suffolk 2. Everyone ages differently - We must support people throughout the life cycle to make sure they age well in Suffolk 3.
