A brilliant final day at The FUTURE Of... DESIGN, where Spencer Buck delivered a thought-provoking keynote, tackling the big question: Is Design Dead? His take? Design isn’t dead—but it is deadly effective when leveraged in the right way. He called out the superficiality of today’s design trends and the widening gap between ‘disruption’ and meaningful, long-term impact. He broke down how brands can move beyond hollow gimmicks to create designs that are distinctive, emotionally resonant, and built for the future. So, is design dead? Not if we push beyond the surface and create unforgettable work that endures. Thank you to David Butler, John Gleason, Fred Richards and Elisabeth Emory for an incredibly insightful few days and for welcoming us as sponsors.

We’ve arrived! This week, we opened the doors to our new home in the heart of Bristol—a space designed for creativity, collaboration, and the people who make Taxi Studio what it is. This move wouldn’t have been possible without our incredible team, who put their hearts into every detail. A huge thank you to Stu Tallis, Lydia Eddings, and Josh Harrison for making it happen, and to our brilliant partners Lloyd Wright, his right-hand man Tom, and Nathan Harris for bringing our vision to life. It’s a place for our team to do what they do best and for our partners—old and new—to feel inspired.
