Our retrofit project with partners Low Carbon Exchange and Taylor Lewis continues apace. At 🏡🏡 in Glebe Meadow and Glebelands, Westward colleagues and contractors held customer engagement sessions to outline plans and answer any questions. We'll be enhancing the energy efficiency of homes through the options of new roofs, windows, doors, insulation, solar panels, renewable heating and improved ventilation systems. In the coming months, we’ll be continuing these upgrades, to help make homes more sustainable, warmer and cheaper for our customers. #Retrofit #Renewables #NetZero #Sustainability #EnergyEfficient #Holsworthy

The month of November is here... Seven everyday heroes of the mighty #TLTeam will be spending a night sleeping outdoors in Bristol for the CEO Sleepout UK, experiencing a small fraction of the hardships faced by those who are homeless every day, this is the second year running for Helen Green and Martin Hobbs MCIOB AssocRICS where they report it got down to a balmy 2 degrees last year!! ❄️ 🥶   Of course, one night is not a huge hardship, nor will it give them the remotest sense of what being homeless is actually like, but "..being homeless really shouldn't mean hopeless..." In England, more than 274,000 people are currently experiencing homelessness. This means that one in every 206 people in the country are living without a stable home. Of course, it’s important to remember that these figures could be even higher, as many people are missed from homelessness records by being out of view.   With every penny donated going directly to help those experiencing homelessness in Bristol, the funds raised will help fight poverty and homelessness through the amazing work of some lifechanging charities. As we continue to grow we welcome three new members to the #TLTeam. Project Coordinator - Paula Slann Paula joins our Team of Project Coordinators who support the #BuildingSafety Division with the ongoing programme for our expanding client base around the UK. Retrofit Assessors - Kynan Besenyi and Beth Young  Kynan and Beth will strengthen our #Retrofit Division working to monitor and evaluate energy efficiency measures within domestic properties in accordance with PAS 2035.
