This brilliant advice is from our latest #WTSInterview with Kylee Della Volpe Kylee is the SEO Manager for the BioSciences Division at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Kylee has a diverse experience in all things SEO and SEO-adjacent including content strategy, UX, on-page SEO, and technical SEO. She’s most interested in projects that bring that experience together to provide a great customer experience. https://lnkd.in/eQJxgnR8

My #1 tip for public speaking… Check your details. On Friday I announced to a very large room of about 1,500 people that they should go and visit the Women in Tech SEO stand during the break. I just forgot to check with Areej AbuAli if anyone was going to be there. Which is how I ended up with a part time job spreading the word of WTS until Areej came back! Not sure they’ll have me back.

Had an amazing time at brightonSEO! Some highlights: 😊 Met lots of people, spent some time with Militsa Koleva, Iva J, Taco Verdonschot, Judith Lewis, Gus Pelogia, Sarah Chaya Presch, Alan Presch, Andy Frobisher, 🌈 Petra Kis-Herczegh, Jeroen Stikkelorum, Martijn Hoving, Frank van Dijk 📈, Jerrel Zandgrond, Natalia Witczyk, Dawn Anderson, Sarah McDowell, Mark Williams-Cook, Michel Kant, John Mueller, Begum Kaya, Amanda King, Roxana Stingu, Simon Lesser, Marco Giordano, Mauro Cattaneo, Baptiste "Baba" Hausmann, Rishi Lakhani, Areej AbuAli, Wende Pollé, Dani Leitner and many many more. 🎓 Talks, masterclasses and a roundtable around AI (of course), automation, analysis, Core Web Vitals and in-house SEO. Of course couldn’t miss the keynote. I’ll share links to available slidedecks & some insights in the comments. I have some homework for when the video bundle becomes available. ☀️ Sunny weather! Perfect to take some pictures with Women in Tech SEO banners highlighting their values, such as being helpful and kind. 🛼 Rollerskating & lunch & evening drinks with SEO Brein community 👩💻 Women in Tech SEO drinks with an awesome group photo and kept bumping in to lots of you all the time 🧉 Impressive Harry Potter themed cocktails with some of the Neurodivergents In SEO crew 🥘 The SEO Mindset Podcast live with pizza, fancy Asian dinner thanks to Semrush and Italian food with 14 people squeezed around a small table. 🧇 Handed out lots of stroopwafels to non-Dutchies 🧸 Lots of swag, such as teddy bears for my kids, a nice hoodie, Japanese Google-themed shirt and much more Glad to be back home later today with my family though… Thanks Kelvin Newman and crew for organizing another great edition of BrightonSEO. Booked my ticket for April 2025, who of you will I see you there (again)?

My first brightonSEO experience has been wonderful! Insightful keynotes, lovely chats with inspiring fellow SEOs AND blue sky above Brighton! Not to forget wonderful meet-ups from Women in Tech SEO (who have also been a sponsor as you can see on the pic) and DACH SEOs for a nice evening get together. I definitely want to come back! Thanks Textbroker EU for the possibility to attending both days and lovely to see you Jochen Mebus, Giuseppe Colucci 📶 and Emile Haffmans
