TASHTASTIC TENET - Making Moves for #Movember! 🥸 This year, the Tenet team is going all-in to support Movember, stepping up to raise awareness for men’s health! 💙 Our “Tashtastic Tenet” crew features 12 tash-growing champions who started clean-shaven and will be rocking their moustaches throughout November to spark conversations about mental health, suicide prevention, prostate, and testicular cancer. Two of our team members are also taking on the “Make a Move” challenge, walking 60 km for the 60 men we lose to suicide each hour worldwide. We’re excited to celebrate the birthday of a true Tenet legend – Mike Livesey, who turned 65 last week! Mike has been an integral part of our journey, bringing with him an incredible wealth of experience, knowledge, and dedication. Starting his career at just 16 as an electrical apprentice with UK AEA, Mike has grown through the ranks, first at DATS Engineering in Widnes, before helping to shape Tenet when we first opened in Thomson House, Birchwood Park, Warrington 20 years ago, with just four people. Today, as a Senior Designer, Mike continues to share his expertise with the next generation of apprentices – always ready to lend a hand and share his wisdom. Known for his lunchtime walks around Birchwood Park (rain or shine!) with his trusty apple 🍏 in hand, Mike is truly "the font of knowledge" for our team. As Carol Bold puts it best: "If we cut Mike in half, he would have Tenet written through him." We are incredibly lucky to have Mike as part of our team – his contribution to Tenet is immeasurable, and we look forward to many more years of his guidance and friendship. Happy Birthday, Mike! Our Senior Mechanical Engineer, Huw Jack Brassington, was featured on BBC Radio Wales this morning, discussing an important new initiative offering families grants of up to £5,000 to return home to rural North and West Wales. 🏡 Huw, originally from North Wales himself, shared his insights on the potential impact this initiative could have on local communities and Welsh speakers. With the number of Welsh speakers in these regions declining, this grant aims to encourage people to return home, helping to preserve the Welsh language and culture in its strongholds.
