Menopause brings about significant hormonal changes that can affect many aspects of a woman's health, including bladder control. Incontinence—the involuntary leakage of urine—becomes more common during this stage. The decline in estrogen levels and weakening of pelvic floor muscles during menopause are key factors contributing to this issue. Incontinence during menopause doesn’t just affect physical health; it also takes a toll on emotional well-being. Women may experience feelings of embarrassment, shame, and frustration over their inability to control leakage. Fear of accidents can lead to social isolation and avoidance of activities they once enjoyed. Incontinence can also affect intimate relationships, as women may feel self-conscious or anxious during sexual activity. Without intervention, these emotional burdens can decrease overall quality of life and contribute to feelings of loss of independence. While menopause brings many changes, bladder leakage and discomfort don’t have to be part of the experience. Strengthening the pelvic muscles helps improve bladder control, prevent leaks, and reduce the risk of prolapse.  By incorporating pelvic floor exercises, aka Kegel Exercises, into your routine, you can improve your physical and emotional well-being. Identifying and engaging the right muscles is the first step. Just like other muscles in the body, the pelvic floor can only improve with consistent and proper exercise. However, many women struggle with these exercises because they may not be sure they’re engaging the correct muscles. The good news is that electrical pelvic floor muscle stimulation can help ensure the right technique. TensCare offers a range of pelvic floor muscle exercisers that use clinically proven parameters, are safe, reliable and easy to use. These devices guide users to correctly activate pelvic muscles, improving effectiveness and long-term results. Electrical muscle stimulators also help women become familiar with the sensation of properly engaging their pelvic floor. TensCare products, such as itouch Sure, Kegel Toner, Elise 2, Unicare use EMS to help users identify and properly engage the pelvic floor muscles, ensuring exercises are effective. Programs are pre-set for different needs, including stress incontinence, urge incontinence, mixed incontinence and tone aftercare. All parameters in our PFE range are supported by extensive clinical research and are recognized as an effective treatment for various forms of incontinence. Many users report improved bladder control and a reduction in leaks after using the TensCare PFE products for just a few weeks. The device empowers users to take control of their health without relying on costly medical interventions. Menopause is a natural transition, but that doesn’t mean women should accept incontinence as part of the process. With the right tools and exercises, it's possible to regain control, improve quality of life, and maintain independence. #Menopause

As our population ages and retires later in life, more people than ever will go through #menopause or experience menopause symptoms whilst at work. It's a completely natural stage of life, yet menopause is still a taboo subject in many workplaces, and so many people feel shameful when discussing their symptoms or asking for extra support. One of the more surprising and often overlooked symptoms during #perimenopause is the persistence or even worsening of #menstrualcramps. Despite irregular or lighter periods, cramps can become more intense as hormone levels fluctuate. These cramps may occur even without menstruation, leaving many women in discomfort and searching for effective relief. Education about treatments—such as #TENS therapy for perimenopausal cramps, can help women make informed choices for their health and comfort. Here is why #TENS works: Pain Relief Without Medication: TENS machines deliver small electrical impulses through electrodes placed on the skin. These impulses block pain signals from reaching the brain and stimulate the release of #endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers. This can significantly reduce the intensity of cramps without the need for medications. Targeted Treatment: TENS machines allow you to pinpoint specific areas of discomfort, such as the lower abdomen or lower back, where cramping is most often felt. This direct approach provides faster and more efficient relief. Portable and Convenient: TENS machines are compact and easy to use at home, work, or on the go. This convenience makes it simple to manage cramps wherever and whenever they occur, giving you more control over your comfort. Natural Relief: TENS is #drugfree and non-invasive, making it an excellent option for women seeking natural pain relief during perimenopause. It can be used alongside other treatments, such as heat therapy, light exercise, or relaxation techniques. If you are experiencing more frequent or intense cramps during perimenopause, it may be time to consider incorporating an #Ova3 TENS machine into your pain management routine. Whether you are looking for relief from occasional discomfort or ongoing cramps, Ova3 can provide a natural, effective way to ease the pain. This new wireless TENs machine from TensCare Limited combines TENS and HEAT therapies. The application of heat helps to soothe tight or tense muscles in the abdominal area, providing relief from cramps and discomfort associated with hormonal changes during perimenopause , when combined with TENS therapy, the heat function can amplify the effects of electrical stimulation, providing a more comprehensive pain management solution. The ability to use the device at home or while traveling offers women a convenient option for managing their symptoms without relying on over-the-counter pain medications. By managing pain effectively, Ova3 can help improve overall #qualityoflife, allowing women to engage more fully in work, social activities, and family life.

TensCare are celebrating 31 years of Improving the quality of life for our product user. 🥳🥳🥳 Today we are going to enjoy an afternoon of social and BBQ together to commemorate the 31st anniversary of TensCare Limited. As of June of this year there were some 4.9million registered active companies at Companies House in the UK. Of those less than approximately 90,000 are more than 30 years old. Longevity in business indicates stability and resilience, and TensCare have demonstrated continuously our ability to adapt over time. Many companies don’t survive because of economic and technological changes beyond their control so longevity is not always a measure of greatness but it does demonstrate that some long-standing companies may stagnate by failing to innovate, or prioritising profit over ethical practices or not looking to the long term. True greatness however, is better measured by a company's impact, innovation, and contribution to society, rather than simply its age. It is these attributes of innovation, quality, caring for each other and for our customers and our impact on society through the improvement of quality of life because of our health and wellbeing products that are cause for celebration today! Over the past three decades, TensCare has made significant strides in improving the quality of life for countless individuals worldwide with our cutting-edge healthcare and pain relief solutions. From our beginnings in 1993 with John McLeod entrepreneurially bringing TENS electrotherapy to the forefront of at home use elethrotherapy for pain relief during child-birth we have grown into a globally recognised brand, trusted by healthcare professionals and users alike for our commitment to safety, reliability, and efficacy. Our flagship products, such as the Perfect TENS, itouch sure and Maternity Mama TENS have set industry standards in pain relief, pelvic floor health and maternity care demonstrating our dedication to advancing medical technology and patient care and well-being. We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to our customers, partners, and our broader community for being a part of our journey. Very best anniversary wishes The TensCare Team #31Today #anniversary #proudlyemployeeowned
