Support comes in different shapes and sizes at Tesco Bank. For Kirsty, it’s knowing she can spend as much quality time with her daughters during those “magical first five years”. That’s just one of the many ways we make sure our colleagues have a lot to feel good about. If it matters to you, it matters to us too. We really mean it when we say, we're the bank with a little more heart. #WellbeingFirst #TheBankWithHeart

*Trigger warning: contains reference to suicide* At Tesco Bank we put #WellbeingFirst and so we used this year’s World Mental Health Day theme of mental health in the workplace, to introduce a range of new and improved resources to support colleagues. We also launched this short film featuring colleagues from across our Tesco Group, who came together to share their very personal stories about mental health. From feeling every kind of emotion to none at all, we hear about their hardest moments – and what helped them have the courage to keep moving forward. As Kristine says, "You don’t know what’s behind the smile." That’s why it’s so important we take the time to check in with one another, and be there for each other. To Andrew, Charlotte and Ian: thank you for sharing your incredibly powerful stories. You’re all an inspiration. Together, we’re keeping the conversation going. #TheBankWithHeart #WMHD2024

We’re delighted to have scooped two awards at last night’s Institute of Internal Communication National Awards. Congratulations to our People Strategy and Communications team who won the awards in the categories of Best Team and Best News Channel. Here’s what Jane Clayton, Head of People Strategy, had to say; “To walk away with two awards when we were up against some brilliant teams and businesses is a big statement. It’s a testament to the great work we’ve been doing listening closely to our colleagues to deliver communications that make them feel connected to Tesco Bank and our purpose. “We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve achieved in the last year.” Congratulations to our award-winning People Strategy and Communications team.
