Here for you no matter the weather ❄️ The roads may have been frozen, but we certainly weren't. During the cold snap at the beginning of the month, we answered over 101,000 calls in just one week with 16,000 of these in one day alone. On the road, there were over 91,000 cases, making this our busiest week of the last 10 years. A huge thank you to our amazing front line staff who showed that it's OK when you're with The AA 💪

Yesterday, our amazing colleagues from our Origins Employee Network Group hosted a Potluck in our Basingstoke office to celebrate Pongal, a multi-day harvest festival celebrated by Tamils. Colleagues brought in traditional foods and shared the festivities. Once again, the Potluck was a great success and demonstrated the significant role our Origins network plays in fostering inclusivity at The AA.

Earlier this year, 15 of our Performance Leaders began their 18-month Level 5 ILM apprenticeship qualification to boost the key skills required to effectively lead their teams. This is the next step for our leaders personal and professional career development, who have already gained a Level 3 qualification. They kicked off their programme with a two-day workshop in our Oldbury office, focusing on personal and professional effectiveness. Last week we were thrilled to host an IamRemarkable workshop with 15 colleagues across our corporate functions. IamRemarkable is a global movement designed to empower individuals to celebrate their achievements both in the workplace and beyond. The workshop gave participants the opportunity to discuss self-promotion and effective strategies for sharing their accomplishments. Last night we celebrated everything that makes The AA special - our people - at The AA Awards 2024. It was an incredible night where we crowned our 14 winners out of more than 2,200 nominations. Our achievements demonstrate the transformation of our business, new culture and optimism in the future. We were honoured to award medals to patrols for bravery and outstanding service. A great time was had by all and we're proud of the progress we're making and our brilliant team who make it happen. Well done everyone! #AAAwards #ItsOkImWithTheAA

Earlier this week, 13 of our Performance Leaders met in our Oldbury office to take part in a Project Management workshop as part of their Level 3 ILM apprenticeship qualification. This marks the penultimate workshop before they begin to prepare for their final exams.    Upon completion, our colleagues will have a Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor apprenticeship as well as their ILM Level 3 Diploma in Management, equipping and empowering them to better lead our patrol workforce.    We wish them the best of luck in finishing their qualification.    #AApprenticeships  #ILM  #ItsOkImWithTheAA  #AACareers
