What an amazing way to end an incredibly busy week for many of our AA Staff supporting numerous events, conferences and our business partners across the UK. We are incredibly honoured to share the news that The AA have been shortlisted in this year’s GREENFLEET Awards 2024 for both the ‘Private Sector Car Fleet of the Year’ Award and our very own Fleet Director, Duncan Webb, has been nominated for “Private Sector Fleet Manager of the Year”. We’re really looking forward to sharing the evening with so many familiar faces from the EV Rally series, friends, business partners and customers, as we all celebrate the very best that the Fleet industry has to offer both businesses and their drivers. As we finish at the Bay Tech Centre, we're taking a few moments to appreciate Wales' superb EV charging infrastructure, which has allowed us to travel safely and sustainably over 500 miles. 🛣️ What a way to celebrate Wales Climate Week 2024! We've got you covered! A crisis averted here when the keys were locked inside a Ford Transit E-Custom, restricting access to the vehicle. 😰🔑 But #ItsOk, within 5 minutes our amazing The AA Patrols of the Year Christopher Wood AAE MIMI and Max Lamond easily gained access through effect entry and had the vehicle on its way! The team has hit the beach - well, reached our fourth checkpoint, Poppit Sands Beach! And they've well and truly made their mark.⚡ After spending a few quiet moments by the beautiful Welsh coastline, we're on our way to checkpoint 5 - our penultimate stop on the rally. Home to more than 6.5 million books, The National Library of Wales is the next stop on our journey - it's good to be here at checkpoint 3! 📚. Although we didn't have time to really get stuck into a good book, we did have a few moments to grab some much needed charge and a few snaps.
