We are operated by a local voluntary committee of Concrete Society members representing a wide range of disciplines and interests within the construction industry. Local activities offer an excellent gateway for like-minded people within the industry to network and build-up continuing professional development experience at the many social and technical events held throughout the year. We are always seeking new volunteers to join our Region and would be pleased to hear from you.

We had glorious autumn sunshine for our Annual The Concrete Society Wales Region Shoot at Nant y moor park Ltd today. Thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to all our winners, including teams from GRAYS (Consulting Engineers) Ltd, Blue Water Recruitment Limited , and Wardell Armstrong LLP . The prize for Top Gun went to Nathan Marsh from Formpave Forterra PLC, with Llinos Hallett of Asbri Planning picking up Best Female shot. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the Beton Bauen charity climb up Pen Y Fan this morning. Great achievement to those (including me) who have never attempted this the walk before. Weather was lousy but the early start and conditions I believe were an advantage, especially the low visibility and not being able to see the top! We expect to raise over £2,000 for the chosen charity - NSPCC. Well done all. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🌲🌲🏔️🏔️ Concrete Repair Association The Concrete Society The Concrete Society Wales Region
