Creative aerial story telling flying our top end #drones harnessing smooth engaging footage through the eyes of our long term dedicated professional pilot; Adrian McDowell & his team of camera crew. Captain Adrian has been a commercial pilot for the past thirty-two years flying all sorts of flying machines from the smallest model aircraft to the mighty Boeing 747. He’s spent the past eighteen years with Virgin Atlantic Airways as a Boeing 787 Dreamliner Captain, however, his creative mind has become heavily involved with aerial photography & cinematography. We operate as either a single pilot/cameraman operation or, should a TV production company require a more complexed film shoot, we will then become a two-crew operation, one dedicated pilot for the fully risk assessed flight ops whilst the seasoned cameraman can fully focus on the all-important filming at hand. We can also offer multiple drone camera crew, ground filming, indoor, outdoor, day or night. Enhanced safety and compliance go hand in hand which The Drone Groups founder will fully look after prior to any film shoot. It has been a while since my last post, as I’ve been recovering from a severe case of COVID-19 contracted in January 2022. The journey back to full health has been challenging, but I’m happy to share that the long-term effects have nearly subsided. Over the past two years, I’ve worked with incredible specialists, including a Cardiologist, Respiratory Consultant, ENT Consultant, and soon, a Vestibular Rebalancing Professor. With their help, I’m hopeful to regain my aviation medical clearance and return to safely flying you and your loved ones around the world.
