Just reminding everyone of our appeal as the temperature drops again. These versatile appliances are so cheap to run, but produce such delicious, nutritious meals!

February has arrived with an icy start. Our Surviving Winter Appeal offers financial support to those who are struggling to stay warm this winter. You may apply if you meet the criteria below: - Aged 66 plus - Not on pension credit - Maximum income £20k individual and £24k couple - Maximum savings £5,000 - Live in Suffolk Suffolk Community Foundation is working with three charity partners to manage the applications and payments. They are: Citizens Advice East Suffolk Gatehouse Charity, Bury St Edmunds Sudbury and South Suffolk Citizens Advice Please visit www.suffolkcf.org.uk for more information and to donate to the appeal. So The Rural Coffee Caravan is relaunching our appeal to supply slow cookers/airfryers to vulnerable households. We have donated over 1200 slow cookers since our first appeal and we know from feedback what a difference they make. Cheap to run, these appliances are magic at turning cheaper ingredients into delicious nutritious meals, they really help families and individuals having to choose between heating and eating! We would be very grateful for your support again this time. Every donation to the appeal counts. no matter how small. The target is £1000 If you prefer to buy one yourself, you can deliver one (we cannot pass on 2nd hand ones) to our office on Church Farm Yard.
