Happy International Women’s Day. Today we’re celebrating all the inspiring and talented women in our industry. We’ve asked two members of our wonderful team what inspired their career in hospitality. Nadezda, Head Receptionist, Brasserie. Nadezda is passionate about people and the connections forged through hospitality. “I genuinely enjoy meeting people from all walks of life which has always drawn me to hospitality” My current favourite dish on the menu is our Sunday roast, particularly the pork, it holds a special place in my heart as it reminds me of my grandmother's delicious recipe; she would marinade the pork for a few days, so I was delighted to discover the chefs here use a very similar technique!” Giulia, Chef de partie. Growing up with a family passionate about food and cooking Giulia takes inspiration from her family and combines it with her own natural creativity. “My grandmother and my father were both chefs. When I was growing up I was naturally creative, and cooking was more of a hobby for me, but it has now evolved in to a passion and a career! Combining flavours and colour is what I love to do. My current favourite dish on the menu is the porcini ravioli, it is paired with a delicious spinach shallot cream, pesto and truffle pecorino."
