Closed-loop rental marketplace bringing brands direct to consumers via our cutting-edge circular retail model.

About us

If there’s one thing children do it’s grow. Fast. They need so many sets of clothes, for so many different occasions, that it’s hard to keep up. It hurts your wallet and the planet too. That’s why thelittleloop does children’s clothes with a difference. Members can choose a selection of beautiful clothes, direct from their favourite brands, for a fraction of the purchase price. They just send them back when their children grow, or they fancy a new style, for a whole new selection. For brands we offer a low risk way to enter the circular economy, and bring their products to a whole new conscious customer-base. Our marketplace lets them test a rental business model without any of the tech or logistical overhead of doing it themselves. They can divert latent stock from loss-making sales into a new rental channel which brings upto 180% ROI. And they’ll benefit from data to help them understand what makes millennial customers tick.

It's a big week here at thelittleloop. Our brand-integrated resale platform is now live and ready for any brand who's looking for the best circular solution on the market. We're all going to have a long sleep...

This week we did a thing. Quite a BIG thing actually. We've been pivoting and expanding thelittleloop since last year when the fundraising environment made it impossible to scale the rental side of our business to the level it needed to be. Our resale platform launched in September and has been going from strength to strength. BUT behind the scenes, we've been even busier. We have built a brand-new, brand-integrated, resale technology, underpinned by over 4 years of experience in the kidswear circularity space. We believe it's the only resale scheme for kidswear which can provide an antidote to Vinted. Better for parents...and better for brands. Designed to solve all the issues which a basic tech plug-in simply can't. This week it launched. On the website of the wonderful Petya Hristova - The QT. We are absolutely thrilled. It's slick, powerful, and critically it works for parents AND brands. 92% of 120 parent users we tested it with want to use it. And 72% of them said it would make them more likely to buy from the brands who offer it. Please visit The QT to check it out. It's on every product page. And in the top nav...you can't miss it! (and do consider buying one of Petya's beautiful designs while you're there ;) https://lnkd.in/eF7uu_hM A HUGE thank you to Petya, the team at Hex Digital and our amazing dev team Vladimir Cvejanovic, Aleksa Radosavljević and Jasen Brtka for all their hard work. And to Innovate UK for making it possible. If you're a kidswear or maternity brand, looking for an out of the box resale solution, with no third parties to manage, no marketing or customer service to handle, and increased primary conversion and loyalty to boot please DM me or drop me an email - charlotte@thelittleloop.com. xx p.s. now youknow why I've been so quiet 😅

Circularity is in our DNA. After 4 years of deep immersion in circular garment care, circular consumer comms, and circular business model development, we’re about as expert as they come. If you have a clothing brand, you need to be thinking about circularity now, before it becomes mandatory. A circular business workshop with our founder Charlotte Morley could be just the ticket….

I’ve just come from a meeting with the Circularity and Design Team at John Lewis Partnership. It has made my week. So many big businesses talk about circularity but really they just mean ‘recycling’. In contrast, JLP are actively exploring how to make their clothes even better quality, and more durable, so that they last as long as possible. In a world of pile ‘em high, sell ‘em cheap it’s counterintuitive. But it’s bloody marvellous to see such a big name retailer genuinely addressing this issue. And finding our unique, item level data, so helpful in guiding their approach. Because we track every single item in our inventory, and store detailed usage stats, fabrication data and more; and because we in-house our operations and so have an intimate knowledge of the performance and treatment of garments; we are able to offer deep insight to our partner brands into what does and doesn’t make a garment which is suited to a circular world. I can’t wait to develop this vital work further and hopefully see the fruits emerge through even better quality design of JLP kidswear over the coming years. If you are a brand in need of a resale or rental solution - particularly in childrenswear - we are the perfect partner. Drop me a line to find out more. And if you would simply find a circularity workshop helpful for your brand, and want to capitalise on our nearly 4 years of insight into what makes a circular business work, please get in touch! We're so excited to announce our latest pop-up partnership with Sign of the Times in our Peter Jones shop in Sloane Square, Chelsea. 🙌 Sign of the Times: Luxury Resale Reinvented is the UK’s leading luxury pre-loved reseller with over 45-years of experience in the second-hand market. This means our customers can browse and buy from a collection of pre-loved designer pieces including outerwear, bags and accessories. The launch of the pop-up shop (which is now open until January 31st) comes as customers are increasingly shopping for second-hand items so they can afford the brands that they love and shop more sustainably too. As a purpose-led brand, sustainability is deeply rooted in who we are. That’s why we’re always looking for new innovative initiatives and solutions to support more sustainable life-styles. 💚 Here's our recommended ways you can shop more sustainably this Christmas and beyond (we've added links to more information on all these initiatives in the comments below): 💃 Rent your Christmas outfit through our fashion rental platform ♻️ Take part in our new FashionCycle scheme for your pre-loved clothes ✍️ Subscribe to our childrenswear rental service with thelittleloop 🛌 When purchasing a new mattress, recycle your old one with us 🚲 Opt to rent a bike from the Bike Club for your family 💄 Don’t throw away your empties, recycle them through BeautyCycle ♻️ We’ll also recycle your bigger electrical items when purchasing a new one To find out more on how we’re achieving our sustainability goals, read our latest Ethics & Sustainability report (link to the report in the comments below). 🌍 #DrivenByPurpose #CircularFashion #Sustainability #JohnLewis

Building mission-led businesses with entrepreneurs since 2014 | Freelance | MSc in Psychology | BA in Business

Currently at Kind Con. An event for purpose driven businesses. A great opening keynote from rental clothing business founder Charlotte Morley of The Little Loop. Charlotte talked about what it’s like to build a purpose-driven business, how it differs from building a regular business and the pros and cons. I loved hearing the honest account of her journey and thelittleloop is currently raising EIS. #purposedriven #missionled #purpose #sustainability #circulareconomy #retail #clothing

Very much looking forward to taking part in not one but two sessions at the inspirational KindCon tomorrow with Caner Veli and the Kind Community. It's a bonefide convention with a difference...in the words of Caner, KINDCon is not just an event; it's a movement aimed at accelerating the growth of businesses that prioritise kindness, health, and sustainability. First up, I'll be Keynoting about Scaling a Brand with Purpose. Then contributing to the Circular Fashion Roundtable with the Garmst Jetti and Loom folks. I think there are still some tickets available https://lnkd.in/eACcUjru

Delighted to announce that we’ve won a Junior Design Award for the 3rd successive year…and this time it’s a GOLD!! #awards #awardwinning

There’s an odd phenomenon I’ve noticed since becoming a founder. And that’s the conflict you feel when considering entering an award. Are they worth the cost? Is it even relevant what a handful of judges think? What value do they actually bring? But if I don’t enter will people assume I did and lost???? What I’ve realised, after entering several, and winning a few, is that value lies in 2 things only: 1. Providing a barometer for how good your service is, as well as how you stack up vs your competition, in the eyes of an impartial 3rd party. (And so guiding you in areas you might improve) 2. Providing a level of trust for customers (in our case, consumers AND clothing brands) to help them distinguish you from the pack. Which means the awards must have the BEST judges, strong industry recognition and respect, and ideally be free/cheap enough to ensure that your competition all enters too. The Junior Design Awards are the only award we now routinely enter as a business. Which is why I’m delighted to announce that this year we’ve won GOLD for best Circular Clothing Brand. A big thank you to Bonita Turner and team for consistently hosting the best awards in the kids biz! P.s awards won’t help you get investment, grow awareness (much), or get you customers. There’s so much more required for all those things. P.p.s the other awards I absolutely think are worth it are the Great British Entrepreneur Awards & Community which has the added benefit of an incredible community.
