I was delighted to pop in to Thistle Wind Partners’ community engagement event in Stonehaven this week. It was really interesting to hear more about their work in the area and how they’re trying to minimise disruption to local beaches. It was also lovely to catch up with Kirsty MacAulay who’s been so supportive in DYW North East’s work in schools for upcoming mock interviews and sharing more about wind turbines. It’s great to have employers like Thistle Wind Partners supporting our local schools. DYW North East

Thank you to everyone who came along to our community information events for our #Bowdun offshore wind farm project. And that’s a wrap for Thistle Wind Partners at Floating Offshore Wind 2024 organised by Scottish Renewables and RenewableUK We’re proud to have been an event partner this year. ✔️ TWP cable engineer Nosakhare Oronsaye CEng MIET delivered a deep dive presentation “Optimising subsea proximity requirements for offshore assets in wind farm environments.” ✔️ TWP supply chain manager Gavin MacKay took part in the “Rapid-fire updates” and delivered an update on our #Ayre floating offshore wind farm project. ✔️ Gavin also took part in a seminar organised by Norwegian Offshore Wind during which he discussed opportunities for the supply chain in Scotland. ✔️ Countless meetings, introductions made and new partnerships discussed. ❌ No more Thistle Wind Partners thistle seed packets left.
