2 weeks on from the CrowdStrike outage, we’ve been thinking about how payments play their part in mitigating any future crisis. The outage taught us all one valuable lesson about payments: don't put all your eggs in one basket! 🥚🧺 Because being over-reliant on one payment method can grind your business to a halt if systems go down. And think: what would it cost your business if your payments went down for one hour? What about six hours? Can you afford to be offline for that long? 💸 This is why businesses need to start diversifying their checkouts, offering several payment methods to shoppers. Payment diversity 🤝 payment resilience.
