As part of our commitment to support Zero Harm fortnight at HPC, #TeamTurnbull held a Hand Arm Vibration System presentation to help educate some of the team on how they could be at risk if control measures are not in place ✋ A very education filled hour with some of the team saying they had learnt more in this short hour than they had in all the years doing their job! Well done team (tea and biscuits obviously provided☕) 👏

Today is World Menopause Day 🌎 The aim is to break taboo and improve women’s health and wellbeing by raising awareness about the symptoms of menopause and the support options available. At Turnbull we're proud to have a Menopause Warriors working group. Despite the name, this group is a safe and inclusive platform where all our employees, men and women, can come together to talk, learn and share their thoughts around different topics that impact women in the workplace, including menopause😊 With over 80% of our workforce being men, we encourage them to join and learn how to support the women in their lives, whether it's their partners, mums, sister etc to help create a more informed and supportive environment. The group is also there to help provide resources and guidance for those who are supporting someone going through the menopause. #WorldMenopauseDay #WorldMenopauseDay2024

We are so pleased and excited to announce our new contract to work with The Balance of Plant (BOP) team. During Turnbull's first meeting with them, we discussed a number of exciting opportunities across a three year programme and we are looking to commence the first opportunity in this quarter of the year. This is a truly exciting time for us as we expand our client base and presence on Hinkley Point C! 🎉

Turnbull Infrastructure & Utilities Ltd reposted this
So as #NationaInclusionWeek draws to a close, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the theme of #ImpactMatters 💭 For me personally, I will pledge to continue to support the ever developing culture within our workspaces. We at Turnbull Infrastructure & Utilities Ltd understand that our culture evolves and we embrace this. We want to continue to give our people the empowerment and support to be themselves when they’re at work - there is so much we can learn from one another and we strive to ensure our environments are ones of mutual respect and open conversation. We held our bi-monthly team brief yesterday where I talked around #NationalInclusionWeek and opened up conversations around what CID means to #TeamTurnbull. There were some great comments received and also some suggestions of where we can better support our people which is where our working groups come in. We have a wealth of working groups available for our team members so they not only come to work to carry out their day to day role, they are also using the forums available to voice their ideas for improvements across the business. The focuses of our working groups vary from tips to entertain children over the holidays to tracking our progress of implemented sustainability initiatives. Our groups are as follows: 🧑🤝🧑 People’s Council 🌍 Sustainability 👶🏼 Working Parents 🦺 Health & Safety 💪🏼 Menopause Warriors 🧠 Health & Wellbeing/Mental Health First Aiders 🤗 Culture, Inclusion & Diversity (CID) In addition to the above, we have wider YTL Group working groups which our team members have access to join also, to name a few we have the ARC (accept, respect, celebrate) Alliance & Equal Ground. To truly drive home the theme of #ImpactMatters, our CID group have put together an array of resources which they have been sharing with the team during this week to open up conversations around items such as non-visible disabilities and gender equality. I have enjoyed extending my understanding of these topics and thank our CID group for their fantastic contributions to making National Inclusion Week a success.
