We're so happy to support the amazing work of Who Let The Dads Out? in Okehampton! 💙 Through our Neighbourhood Fund, we were able to help local dads attend DadFest, a fantastic outdoor festival where they could have fun with their children and connect with other dads. We've reduced storm overflow spills at one of our highest spilling sites in Cornwall. 🌊 This is a result of our recent investment in the wastewater treatment works in Fraddon, where we've installed a storm storage tank. The tank holds excess flows during heavy rainfall, which reduces the amount of times the storm overflow operates. We're committed to reducing storm overflows and improving water quality across the South West. We're working hard to become the first water company to meet the government's target of achieving less than 10 spills per overflow per year – a decade ahead of target. We've finished improvement works in Dartmoor as part of our work to reduce the use of storm overflows across the region. 🌊   We will continue to do everything we can to protect the environment, and that includes tackling storm overflow spills.
