The UK Business Angels Association (UKBAA) is the national trade association representing angel and early-stage investment. UKBAA acts as the voice of the angel investment community and strives to build and connect the early-stage investment ecosystem, in support of the UK's high-potential entrepreneurs. UKBAA supports a large and dynamic community, with more than 170 member organisations. Our members include angel syndicates, individual investors, early-stage VCs, equity crowdfunding platforms, accelerators and professional advisers.

  • Member news: Birmingham’s 4T2 Sensors Raises £796,000 Seed Round to Transform F&B Manufacturing Sustainability 4T2 Sensors has secured a £796,000 seed round to assist Food and Beverage (F&B) manufacturers in meeting ESG requirements. The capital comes from a £249,965 investment from the West Midlands Co-Investment Fund (WMCO), alongside Waterpoint Lane and a group of angel investors. The funding will enable 4T2 Sensors to secure certifications for hazardous environments and hire key positions moving forwards. The WMCO is managed by Midven part of Future Planet Capital.   • Member news: Scottish women-led investment group, Mint Ventures adds legal tech firm to its portfolio The Scottish women-led angel investment group, Mint Ventures has added to its portfolio by investing in Hampshire-based legal case management platform transparently which is led by family law specialist, Becki Sant-Cassia. Transparently has developed a platform that enables lawyers to engage with clients through alternative service delivery models and for clients to work with legal professionals as and when their resources allow. The investment from Mint Ventures comes ahead of a planned funding round for the firm in 2025, as it looks to scale its services and increase its customer base.
