The GeoPlatform Finder was developed to address these challenges, making it easier to discover geospatial platforms for use in flood and drought management. Key features of the tool: ✅Structured recommendations – Instead of manually searching multiple sources, users receive tailored suggestions based on their needs. ✅AI-powered voice assistant – Designed for non-experts, it provides real-time answers to questions about geospatial data and platform capabilities in non-technical language. ✅Intuitive scrollytelling – A step-by-step, guided approach to exploring geospatial platforms within different humanitarian scenarios. The GeoEvidence Explorer has already demonstrated how geospatial data can transform humanitarian operations (try it out: https://lnkd.in/gcU7ibH3). Now, we're looking ahead. How can organizations maximize the Explorer’s potential? What future developments will enhance its impact? And how can we strengthen the evidence base for geospatial data in humanitarian decision-making? We designed the GeoEvidence Explorer to help practitioners—particularly those without deep technical expertise—navigate the growing body of geospatial impact literature. It provides case studies that highlight not just how geospatial data has been used, but the tangible outcomes it has delivered. But we know there's more to do.
