    Starting Thursday the right way! 🥇 🎉 Pleased to announce last night we picked up the 𝐞𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐭-𝐮𝐩 𝐒𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐘𝐞𝐚𝐫 in the #UKeCommerceAwards 🇬🇧 🏆 for the House of Charcoal project we delivered in record time, earlier this year! 🪵 🔥 The team smashed it out of the park, the stunning UI is a compliment to the awesome brand delivered by Unearthed who delivered the brand and communications. WIRO worked in harmony with them to deliver a Shopify 2.0 site, that provided House of Charcoal a solid technical foundation to build on overtime and in additional to integrated tech such as Trustpilot and Klaviyo 👨💻 This award is a testament to our teams amazing efforts this year, to build our internal 'CORE framework', which allows DTC brands to scale and grow quickly on Shopify efficiently and to maximise budget, so this award is very fitting!!! 🥇 🎉 Big thank you to Don't Panic Events #ecom #startup #shopify #shopifyplus #project #cro #cx #ux #award #team

    There's nothing more powerful than a brand truly on a mission to make a difference. I’m not talking about the classic ‘we do things differently’ b*llocks. I’m talking about channelling their brand to change the views, behaviours and feelings of others. Which is why I've absolutely loved the work we’ve been creating for House of Charcoal this year. When a brand has a clear mission and is committed to live and die by it, the results are pretty special. Did you know... The UK barbecues 110,000 tonnes of charcoal each year, but LESS THAN 5% of that is produced in the UK 🛳 The majority of our imported charcoal that we purchase from garage forecourts or merchants is covered in nasty chemicals like petrol, which taints the flavour of our food 🤮 Although all different charcoal has different heat properties, some burn hotter and some burn longer - ultimately, good quality, all natural, lumpwood charcoal actually has a relatively neutral flavour profile 🥩 Mad, right?
